Gold Star is represented by the founders of the company - George and Sophia. We will create the perfect setting for your special day, take into account all your needs and personally work alongside you to choose the designs, styles and colours that best suit you. We work alongside well-known wedding planners, events companies and caterers and we are now the trusted suppliers for many venues across London. Gold Star began as a small chair cover company renowned for its affordable prices and superb quality covers and sashes. We are now a company people choose for decorating the whole of their venue - with professional lighting and beautiful decor in addition to our chair covers. Our excellent reputation has been built up through clients recommending us to friends and family and by past clients coming back to use our services.

We will arrive on the morning of your special day and set up several hours before you arrive by arranging this with the events team at your venue. We will return to your venue on the night your event finishes, and once the music has been turned off and your guests have left we will then collect all decor and equipment.

Most banqueting suites, hotels and halls use one of several styles of standard banqueting chairs. Our chair covers have been made to measure and we have several chair cover sizes and styles which fit most types of chair perfectly. As we work closely with many venues in and around London we usually know which type of chairs they use, but we will always double-check with your venue, or if we need to we will pop down to the venue several months in advance.

One size does NOT fit all.
Large chair covers placed on tiny chairs don’t look neat, not to mention they will fall all over the place when your guests move around during the duration of the occasion. Our chair covers are made to measure; we have different sizes and different shapes for most banqueting chairs across the region.
Our attention to detail.
Avoid hiring chair cover‘s which don’t reach the floor because they have either shrunk or because they aren’t the correct size. Seeing chair legs are not attractive. All chairs are different so the covers should fit your venue’s chairs perfectly.
Stunning but strong.
Sashes may look nice but check to see that they will stay in position till the event finishes. If sashes aren’t tied properly, they might easily slip to bottom of the chair an hour into the event. Our sash styles have been designed to hold very well as well as having a neat and sleek appearance.
Quality counts.
All our chair covers are cleaned and pressed prior to every single event. They are delivered to the venue on rails and in dust resistant packaging ready for us to set up.
Our sashes will never be frayed as each and every edge is stitched to provide you with the best appearance and highest quality.
In particular, we decide not to tie ‘organza bows’ because our ‘tie-back knot’ is more secure and each one is consistent in size.
